A quick and simple New Year greeting.
I was able to get early off from work today. I hurried home to see the queen give her New Year speech. The entire country sits in front of the tube to hear her wish us all well in the new year.
Then we sat down to a very nice dinner that Jens had made. We tune in again to the television just before the clock strikes 12 on the town hall square.
We pop open our bottle of bubbly and then step outside into the frosty air to bang in the New Year.
